Tuesday update

Good morning sweet sistas,

I'm up a little earlier than usual this morning. Taking my pups to the groomer today. On my way home I'm going to stop andbuy stickers and price tags and start getting ready for my garage sale. I'm thinking this weekend is the big day. I need to check with my HOA about permits and such.

I kept my 22 month old neice over night for a sleepover with Vinnie last night. She woke up screaming for mommy at 3am. My daughter rocked her back to sleep! God love her! She has a way with the little ones! Now Raisy is fine!

My daughter and Vinnie are sacked out!

Now I need much needed coffee!

I finally got the upper GI done yesterday! Not sure what the doc was looking for. I think he wanted to see what my gastric bypass looked like.

My Endoscopy/ maybe surgery is scheduled for tomorrow at 1230.

I hope I sleep tonight!

I got a full day of two two yr olds!!

Good Morning! I was so tired yesterday that I fell asleep while watching TV last night which meant that I didn't sleep after that. Grrrr.

We had our roof installed in 2003. One of the bad things about living near the ocean is that metal rusts. We have a vinyl membrane roof and that part is fine but the fasteners are rusting per our recent roof inspection. So, we have been in limbo since the 9/25 inspection of the roof when this problem was discovered. I have tried and tried to get in touch with the roofing company. No one will call me back. I just contacted them via their website. I'm giving them this week to get back to me. If they don't, I guess I'll have to contact the Better Business Bureau and report them. I hate to do that when we need them to do the repairs but I don't know what else to do.

I am feeling more normal (despite my poor sleep night) than I have in a couple of days since our return from our trip to Idaho. Maybe today, I can tackle the floors which need to be cleaned as the dog sitter didn't do that while we were gone (we didn't expect her to) -- so, it's been almost two weeks since they've been cleaned. I can see specs of dirt here and there and it's driving me crazy.

Carla, I hope that your endoscopy tomorrow results in a complete resolution of your problem.

I hope you all have a good day today. I know that the weather has caused havoc on Connie's body and Eileen's too. Hubby got a migraine last night because our weather was changing -- AGAIN.

I hope you are able to reach the roofers before you need to contact the BBB. One of my pet peeves is when businesses don't get back to people. Hope your floor cleaning goes well. Take care.

Arlene, it's one of my pet peeves too. It seems to me that, in a lot of cases, customer service has gone out the window.

Should the roofer have known not to use those fasteners? Can you find out if special fasteners should have been used in your location? If so, maybe you can go after the roofer for the costs you'll be incurring. (One of my daughter's friends filed a claim in District Court, and ended up getting correspondence from Judge Judy's show asking her if she wanted to appear on the show -- your claim would be an interesting one!!)
